集中力は偉大です。自分の持てる力を一点に集中させるのです。そうすることで時間の質を高めることができます。集中力をコントロールすることができるようになれば、自分の力をコントロールできるようになるでしょう。

では、目標としていることがわくわくしており、明確になっていれば不思議と集中力が湧いてくるのです。したいと思っていても「〜だから・・」といって逃げているようでは、集中力は生まれません。「〜したい！ 〜する！」と言って行動すれば自然と集中力が出てくるでしょう。たとえ、嫌なことをする必要があった場合は、その行動の利点を考えてそちらに焦点を集中します。「これが終わったら、〜の良い事がある」などでも良いかと思います。

父と子の約束の著者、渡邉美樹さんは大学入試のときは、１年間一日３時間集中して受験勉強をして、残った時間はテレビをみたり、遊んだりしていたそうです。的確な思考の力を利用し、勉強計画も、大学に行くための勉強方法も、考えた結果が３時間という勉強時間で合格できるという確信があったからだそうです。
その他にも、講義では、最初に興味のある話をしてから、本題に入るという方法で、人をひきつける方もいるのです。興味をそそられると自然と集中して聞くので、その後もしばらくは聞いてしまうのでしょう。
